I always knew that entrepreneurship was my ultimate path to achieve my life-long goals of success and create change in my local community of Huntington Beach, California. I have always been a go-getter and have had a knack for success in everything I put my mind to. Throughout owning and operating several "warm weather" home maintenance businesses, I have learned how important it is to listen to my customers, find their pain points, and help them in any way I can. When I got accepted to the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I pivoted and offered services that were not native to my California community. I recognized that snow removal was a service that was very high in demand. While browsing online, I found that there were an indefinite amount of snow removal companies with negative reviews that were deemed unreliable and unprofessional. At Snow Scholars, we leverage student's past snow removing skills and their free time to create an even distribution of jobs that fit within a student's academic schedule. I offered my closest friends the opportunity to work to continue to pay for their educations, car payments, and other living expenses by fulfilling several snow removal jobs in the downtown Madison area. It is my mission to grow this business, provide jobs to my classmates, and multiply this positive impact across every college campus in the United States.
