Where is my shoveler?

Service begins once snowfall has concluded for the day. Most homes are cleared within 6 hours, though please allow up to 12 hours based on routing and total accumulations. Snowfalls above 6 inches may experience a delay due to our hand-shoveling crew. Hand shoveling is safer for your property but takes longer to clear. You’ll receive a real-time email notification when your shoveler arrives. As a student-powered operation, timing may be influenced by university schedules, weekdays versus weekends, and holidays, and we appreciate your understanding as we work to serve every home safely and efficiently.

Why wasn't my property serviced today?

Accepted Answer

Service begins once snowfall has concluded for the day, and homes are routed based on proximity to campus, safety considerations, and the priority level selected. Most properties are cleared within 6 hours, though please allow up to 12 hours during larger events as all work is completed by hand. Because our team is made up of college students, timing may also be influenced by class schedules, weekends, and holidays. If your property has not yet been completed, rest assured it remains on the active route and is assigned to a shoveler.

You will always receive an email notification if the snow accumulation meets your current service plan.

Can I cancel today's service?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You may cancel at any time. If the request is received before a shoveler has been assigned and routed, a $40 cancellation fee applies. Once a crew has been scheduled and is on the way, the full service charge will apply.

How to use the "live dispatch" feature?

Accepted Answer

If snowfall service is scheduled in your area, the dispatch status will appear here. This tool lets you quickly confirm whether crews are operating today in case you did not receive the dispatch email. Dispatch decisions are based on snowfall measurements collected from multiple points throughout the city. If we are not servicing your area, your city will not appear in the dropdown. For one-time service requests, please email our team.

Why was I charged twice (or charged again)?

Accepted Answer

During extended or back-to-back storms, or when drifting requires multiple visits, more than one service charge may occur. Every job is supported by manually reviewed before-and-after photos, though during periods of heavy snowfall our team may prioritize field operations before completing billing. An itemized email receipt is provided for each service to ensure accurate and transparent records.
